Graphic Design & CAD
These courses are for draughtspeople, technicians, engineers, architects and designers who produce drawings and models, and for marketing and admin staff who create their organisation's own graphics. They cover the main Autodesk and Bentley design tools, the drawing principles behind them, and the graphic design software used for brochures, signage and digital content.
Courses run from one to five days, and most are three days or fewer. Choose by discipline: civil, architectural, structural, building services, mechanical, plant or electrical. Training runs in-house at your premises, at BOTI's venue in Sunningdale, Johannesburg, or online.

Which CAD course fits our discipline?
Civil 3D suits civil engineering teams, Revit Architecture suits architects, Revit Structure suits structural teams and Revit MEP suits building services. Inventor is for mechanical design, Plant 3D for plant design and AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and panels. MicroStation is for teams that work in Bentley MicroStation.
Do delegates need experience first?
Some courses assume it. MicroStation Fundamentals requires technical drawing knowledge, AutoCAD Advanced and MicroStation 3D require previous design or graphics experience, and Plant 3D is for people who already work in AutoCAD. For people new to drawings, start with Introduction to Technical Drawing.
