- Key principles involved in the Assessment process
- Methods and activities that are key to the Assessment and Moderation processes
- Activities involved in the planning and preparation process
- The scope of the Moderation process
- Planning involved in identifying the extent of the Moderation as well as the methods to be used in the Moderation
- Seeking clarification in terms of the context of the assessments being reviewed
- How to plan the moderation methods and processes to be used
- How to plan the human resources and other resources required for the Moderation process
- How to prepare the documents required for moderation
- Conducting the actual moderation
- How to check and appraise the assessment instruments and process being adopted
- How to ensure that the moderation takes into account the special needs of learners
