Training Advice
Managing Team Time and Workload (Unit Standard 242811) (2 days)
Team leaders who build sound task lists, set priorities for themselves and their team, use a diary properly and keep the team's work on track – with 5 accredited credits.
A team leader's day is pulled in many directions, and the team's work suffers when priorities are unclear or deadlines slip unnoticed. This accredited team time management course covers unit standard 242811 on prioritising time and work for yourself and your team (NQF Level 4, 5 credits), part of the FETC: Generic Management (SAQA ID 57712), delivered under BOTI's Services SETA accreditation.
Day one starts with your own workload and your team's: building task lists, separating urgent from important work, and setting priorities for personal and team tasks so that the most valuable work is done first.
Day two covers using and maintaining a diary, running the team's task list, following up on progress and adjusting priorities when circumstances change, so that deadlines are met without last-minute rushes.
