Personal Branding Course (1 day)
Delegates define a clear, authentic professional brand and learn to show it consistently – in person, online and under pressure.
Everyone at work already has a personal brand. It is what colleagues, clients and managers say about you when you are not in the room – and if you do not shape it, others will. This personal branding course helps professionals decide what they want to be known for and make sure their behaviour, appearance and online presence all say the same thing.
Delegates start by defining themselves: a personal SWOT analysis, their values (brand pillars), passions and strengths, and a short brand statement. They then look at presenting that brand clearly and consistently every day, how personal and company brands influence each other, first impressions and dressing for the role, and building rapport and a network. Two sessions cover LinkedIn and social media – having an objective, posting useful content, privacy and security, and responding to mentions – and a final session covers protecting your reputation when something goes wrong.
It is practical throughout. Delegates draft their brand statement, review their own online profile against it and leave with a 90-day personal brand action plan.
