The SharePoint End User Level 2 course has advanced topics of working with SharePoint sites, including: Server site definitions (Search Center, Business Intelligence, etc.); in- Workflows, Social Computing, Site customization, administration and collection administration.

Key outcomes of the course include:
Module 1: Introduction
Module 2: Definition of Server Sites
Each of the site definitions that come with SharePoint Server will be explored
Upon completion of this module, delegates will be able to: effectively describe and use the SharePoint Server site definitions
Module 3: Workflows
Exploring implementing workflows with SharePoint Designer 2010. Including Looping, reusing and modifying workflows; importing and exporting workflow to and from Visio
Upon completing this module, delegates will be able to: Build, edit and implement logging into workflows
Module 4: My Site
Understanding Social Computing features in SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Server feature called My Sites.
Upon completion of this module, delegates will be able to: create and modify My Site; understand and apply My Site social networking features; protect against the Social Computing realm
Module 5: Site Administration
Basic site administration tasks – usually conducted by site “owners”.
Lessons: Basic Site Administration; Galleries; advanced site administration
Upon completion of this module, delegates will be able to: Administer SharePoint Sites and understand and complete site Administrator tasks.
Module 6: Site Customization
This module is focused on customization at an end user level and via the browser.
Lessons: Server Web Parts; Filter Web Parts; Foundation Web Parts; Master Page and CSS Customization; Page Layouts
Upon completion of this module, delegates will be able to: Be able to create, modify page layouts and pages (shared and personal view); have some basic web part on a team site and portal sites
Module 7: Site Collection Administration
This module explores site collection settings and role of the site collection administrator.
Includes Site Collection Administration (Recycle Bin; Audit Log Reports; FAST Search Links; Variations and Variation Labels; Document ID Settings; Content Type Publishing and Logs; Site Collection web analytics reports
Upon completion of this module, delegates will be able to: understand the role of a Site Collection Administrator; know where to find and configure site collection settings; be a competent qualified Site Collection Administrator
