Increasing Your Happiness Course (1 day)
Delegates leave with ten practical habits that make the working day more satisfying – and a plan to keep them going.
Happy employees are not just pleasant to work with. They are more engaged, take fewer sick days, cope better under pressure and stay longer. And happiness at work has less to do with perks than with daily habits that anyone can learn. This happiness at work training gives delegates a practical set of those habits.
The course is built around ten things happy people do differently. They prepare the night before, plan their day with breaks built in, connect with colleagues, create a workspace they enjoy, keep positive company, use their leave and benefits, take charge of their own career, set boundaries, practise gratitude and choose how they respond to stress. Each habit is explained, discussed with real workplace examples and turned into one small change delegates can make the next morning.
It is a light, positive and practical day that works well as a morale or team session, especially after a period of change or pressure. Delegates leave with a personal action plan. It is not counselling – anyone who is struggling is pointed to your employee assistance programme or a professional.

Can you run this course at our offices?
Yes. Most groups are trained at the client's premises anywhere in South Africa; we can also host it at a BOTI venue or deliver it live online.
Is this a serious business course?
Yes. It is light in tone but practical: each habit is linked to engagement, absence or performance at work, and delegates leave with specific changes to make.
Can we book it as a team session?
Yes. Many clients book it for a whole team as a morale session after change or a busy period, and group activities are built in.
Is it accredited?
No – it is a non-accredited short course and delegates receive a BOTI certificate of attendance.
Is it the same as the Work-Life Balance Course?
No. Work-Life Balance focuses on time, stress and the boundary between work and home. This course focuses on the daily habits, relationships and attitude that make work itself more satisfying.
Can you run this course in Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban?
Yes. We train on site at your offices in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and across South Africa, at a BOTI venue in Johannesburg, or live online so a team spread over several offices can attend together.
